What uses of SMARTY.cc are prohibited?

Unlawful activity, reverse engineering or extracting the underlying models, automated scraping, interfering with service availability, unauthorized security or penetration testing, uploading malware or infringing content, using SMARTY.cc to make safety-critical engineering decisions without qualified engineer review, and sharing or misusing account credentials.

What is expected of me?

Use SMARTY.cc the way a professional engineering team would use any serious tool in the loop: apply qualified engineer review before automation is executed on a model that matters, describe workflows honestly, respect third-party intellectual property, and keep credentials private and provisioned per person.

What happens if the policy is violated?

SMARTY.cc may investigate, remove offending content, suspend or terminate access, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Where practical, notice is given before suspension, and account owners can appeal by replying to the notification email.

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone who accesses or uses SMARTY.cc. It supplements the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. It applies equally to trial, pilot, and paid users, and to any account created on behalf of a customer organization.

• Using SMARTY.cc for any unlawful activity, or to generate content that is illegal in the user's or the recipient's jurisdiction.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or source code of SMARTY.cc.
• Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction of the product interface, other than through interfaces SMARTY.cc explicitly provides.
• Interfering with the availability or integrity of the service, including denial-of-service attempts and abuse of rate limits.
• Security testing, vulnerability probing, or penetration testing of SMARTY.cc without prior written authorization.
• Uploading malware, or content that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Using SMARTY.cc to make safety-critical engineering decisions without qualified engineering review.
• Sharing account credentials, or using another person's account without authorization.

The policy is written in the negative because it has to be, but the working expectation is straightforward: use SMARTY.cc the way a professional engineering team would use any serious tool in the loop.

• Qualified engineering review of any drafted automation before it is applied to a model that matters.
• Honest prompts that describe the actual workflow, inputs, and acceptance criteria.
• Respect for third-party intellectual property in anything uploaded or referenced.
• Credentials kept private, and access provisioned per person rather than shared across a team.

SMARTY.cc may investigate suspected violations, suspend or terminate access, remove content that violates this policy, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Enforcement is not required to be proportional to the number of violations. Where practical we give notice before suspending an account, and account owners can appeal an enforcement decision by replying to the notification email.
